Give & Take

GIVE

I have decided to have a GIVEaway on The Altered Page. I have a large number of art books, some of which are duplicates, and I thought it was time to pass them on. They have all been useful to me and are all in good condition. So if you are interested, leave a comment to this post and I will have a random drawing on Friday May 9th to pick a winner. Make sure you GIVE your email address so I can contact you or just check back next Friday to see if you have won. Why don't you GIVE it a shot? There are five books and a small surprise included:

Urgent 2nd Class -- Nick Bantock
Mixed-Media Collage -- Holly Harrison
Collage Discovery Workshop: Beyond the Unexpected -- Claudine Hellmuth
Somerset Studio's Artist's Cafe -- Premiere Issue 2007
Altered Books Workshop -- Bev Brazelton

TAKE

I have decided to TAKE a week off from Blogging. Right now I am involved in a number of collaborative projects that I am quite inspired by. I need to TAKE some time to focus on these. When I return to posting, I am sure I will have TAKEn some photo previews of a number of these projects to post. See you soon!

Thanks for the great giveaway. I have been relying on my local library for art books and to be honest the choices are limited. It would be wonderful to have some books of my own!

What a great incentive to get people to visit your site. I have just made a blog on this Blogspot two days ago and am new to blogs as well. So seeing yours and all the neat information is wonderful and I know where to improve. I could spend all evening just going through your site and following up on the leads. Congratulations.

What a great idea! It's okay to stop blogging for a while, imho, when working on art. Just don't forget to come back and share. I am really enjoying this site and please, include me in this Giveaway if possible.

Hi Seth. How generous of you to have a give-away on your blog. Thanks for that. Please count me in. And take the time you need to work on your collaborative projects. I'm involved in a collab too right now, my first time. It's an answer to a call for publishing. Something I'm excited about.
