This past summer I was lucky enough to be able to take a weekend workshop with Judy Wilkenfeld. The class focused on making books by hand with a binding that allowed for the attachment of three dimensional objects to each page. Click images to enlarge.
It was there that Handbook was born.
This has been a labour of love. And, much like the objects, I feel attached to each and every page.
Thanks to everybody who has followed along as I worked on this book. I have appreciated your wonderful feedback. And stay tuned...Handbook II is on its way!

How interesting to see this and to see the Seth Style intertwined with the Judy Style that makes up this wonderful handbook. How fortunate for both of you to be in each others presence and share art making / learning /teaching together. The end result is terrific and I do look forward to handbook II too. ;-)

This book is BEYOND beautiful. I am in love with it and all the beautiful hands you have collected to make it so amazingly special. I've never seen another one made like that, so this was a special treat. I'm familiar with Judy's work after seeing a link on your blog during the Disintegration project. You are a great student, a wonderful artist, and owner of a book I would give my left boob for!!
