Precious Stone
I recently finished working in Roxanne's book for my Inner Works collaboration. Her theme is Earth Tones, something that totally resonates with me. This is the fourth book I have worked in for this project. With each book I receive, more and more pages are completed. I created three pages for Roxanne. One is below. Click here to be taken to the Inner Works blog to see glimpses of my other pages and to read more about this project.

I shall carry this image with me for days to come: the Earth as a precious stone, something to meditate upon. Beautiful. Off to look at your other stuff now Seth x
Thrilling image! The earthiness, the rustiness and the raw edginess...just delicious!
I love your sense of order. Isn't it interesting that my work can be so wild and outside the lines and I appreciate your orderly pieces so much? Precious Earth, Earth Tones..stones...rings...a bit of red, some yellow gold...ring of earth...I like all I see here. Your bring it together so well.
Stunningly beautiful Seth. Roxanne is going to just love your Earth Tone pages! Wish we could re-circle all of our completed books to each other so we can all enjoy and hold the magnificent works of art in each other's books!
That's such a resonant phrase.... I love it. Great piece, Seth. And good to follow the link and see the other work.
gorgeous piece !!
A man of few words, but sooo on the money!! Earth is a precious stone- and you get that across so simply!! Love it!!!!
nice. i like the simplicity of it, not something easy to do in my opinion.
I'm thoroughly enjoying these pieces, Seth. They've got such a rustic beauty and they really resonate. There is a certain quality that makes you want to look at them over and over again. Thank you. I checked out the work of your collaborators - all wonderful. Would love to see the whole finished project.
Best regards
Good morning, Seth! LOVE the distressed metal piece in the center... and I especially like the upper edge of the piece... you always pull disparate things together so well... what a cool skill to possess! Hope your weekend is lovely, thank you for your always kind comments over at my site... xoxo
Gorgeous, thanks for sharing!
Cindy
Love this Seth! Did you hand letter? The textures are visually chewy.
gorgeous ZEN quality and feel to this page
these are some of the color combinations i get drawn too!
this is a wonderful page Seth!
Oh... Seth, I absolutely love this..."Precious Stone" is such a beautiful concept, so fragile in it's roughness, so intricate in it's earthy details. I love the rusty washers and the circular wire in the center... this work fills me with joy and I can hardly wait to see the rest of it... thank you so much... Roxanne
Powerful image Seth - love the earth connection!
Wow Seth, this is amazing! I am so in love with this piece. Stunningly beautiful!! I'm going to check out the rest now. Exciting!
NICE Seth! I love how it is assembled...but still a page...really great!
i stumbled upon your page a couple months ago and fell in love with all the beauty you've created out of the old and discarded, which has inspired me to take up my photography again. thanks!
Love the textures! And that hint of cardinal red is really yummy.
These are luscious Seth. Great work.
this one is absolutely brilliant, Seth ... words - colors - objects ... flippen BRILLIANT.
... wishing I were Roxanne right now. :)

I have just been over at Roxanne's and I am in awe over these stunning art books that this group have been creating, all of them are to be treasured.
I love your concept of the earth being a precious stone... and your clever use of word play that I so admire in you.
Kudos!
Fabulous art work! Really cool!
LOVE it!
Great depth and tone here Seth. Like the look of all three pages from what we can see. Hope when it's all finished that the collaborators post pics of the final outcomes. Would be wonderful to see them in their entirety.
This RR is so thick and rich...would LOVE to sit and look through them all
Mmmmmmm the textural beauty of this page is wonderful. How heavy is the page? I just love the way your creative mind works. Thanks Seth!
