This is a fantastic piece! Love all the elements together and the different shaped rivets are just grand! Like icing on the cake. :)
Such a tactile piece...love those fraying fabrics and the metal and that beautiful hand.
The book is shaping up beautifully Seth. Love the contrasting patterns and the earth tones. The little hand is a great find, looks like one of Judy's pieces.

A work of love, I can tell. I'm getting back into hand made at the moment and finding that it opening up all sorts If unexpected emotions: why is that???? it would appear that when we make things with our hands, we connect to something very deep inside.
this book is just amazing. would love to see it in person, and of course, my hand would want to stroke it!
Gorgeous post! Love how you are creating your Handbook. Hands are so reflective of what's inside and can be healing tools for what's outside. All telling and seeing-and for those who can not see with their eyes, hands are used to see the world through touch. The layers are beautiful as are your pictures which have captured the captivating feel of your book.
I sure hope you are going to show us PAGE BY PAGE one of these days. I LOVE this book and can't wait to see inside it. :)Bea
