Welcome to the fourth edition of The Pulse -- The State of the Art -- a survey in words and pictures of the online artist community. Nearly 150 artists have answered a list of questions which make up The Pulse. Their responses will be presented as a series of online and print projects. Links to the first two projects, Secret Sunday and The Book Guild, can be found on the sidebar of my blog.
StudioScapes is the third project and Chapter 4 starts right now! All artists participating in The Pulse were asked to submit a photograph of a favorite art-related vignette from their home or studio.

_______________These “symbolic” pieces are dotted all over the house – can't help but run my fingers over them as I pass.

On the picture of my Mood Board you may find a little secret: Magnets made from old buttons. Ah – buttons! Another addiction!

This is a recent shot of my art room. I am very fortunate to have an entire room dedicated to my art! I always have a couple projects going on at one time.

I enjoy seeing these snippits of artists studios...especially the work in progress(s)...
Another great collection of wonderful and inspiring places! I have been enjoying this series and the latest postings via my reader...sorry to have not actually visited for a while!
PS: I'm looking forward to your virtual tart exhibition btw!
Feeling inspired.
More great spaces, I especially loved Chris and Lisa's. Found a few new blogs in the process too, thanks.
Its fun to see what makes others smile! thanks, Seth
I'll be back later in the day to 'blog-hop', but once again a THANK YOU for the Studioscape project!
Jeez, Seth.....I can not keep up with you. Kudos to you for all that you do. I couldn't help but sign up for your art reviews. I've been to the city quite a bit ,of late, on business. Hopefully I'll find time to do other things one of these days.....like lunch.
Wonderful! So fun to see!
some lovely images
Thank you for including my pic here, Seth!
And, as always, for all your good work.

Seth, thank you for this chapter.
I always find inspiration in your posts.
Once again a collection of wonderful inspiration. I'm off to the studio. I'm inspired to play...again!
Thanks for the mention Seth! I especially love Olivia's inspired collection of adorable little chairs!
More gorgeous eye-candy, Seth!!
Olivia King - your photograph is intriguing and I see it is your desktop. The strong warm lighting on the right, with blue background for tiny little chairs, and a deep shadow on the left, makes a very lovely still life. It is peaceful too.
What a lovely visit...do I send you a photo of process in my studio for the possibility of Sunday's studioscapes? Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
An artist's workspace is an extension of his/her art. It's a place created with the intention of creating. I like this collection. Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful collection. Very inspiring art. Thanks for share. this wonderful post. :)
I'm intrigued with Olivia King's photo..what is the "story" behind the chairs...and I'd love to see more of the book! A sense of mystery here..which is wonderful!!
I need to start an inspiration/mood board. Those were interesting to see!

Seth, this is the most amazing blog. I am new to following blogs but I am making up time and this one is right up there. How many hours sleep do you get if any? You seem to be involved in so much!
I especially loved Chris and Lisa's. Found a few new blogs in the process too, thanks.
