If that day comes...

If that day comes...I will surrender.
At risk. At peace. Return to sender.

Alight. Alive. In flight. On fire.
One step removed. No. One step higher.

As clouds pass through the space between.
I walk along. Sight unseen.

In time. In step. True simplicity.
The art of synchronicity.

Step lively. Watch the closing door.
Bottled notes upon the shore.
Cutting close right to the core.
When that day comes...I'll ask for more.

Hi Seth, Love the background texture your creating in this piece. And thanks for the stopping by and see the papermaking tent, I hope to pull the papermaking stuff out this weekend and set it up. May not make paper this weekend but it will be ready for the warmer weather.

Seth, I love this blue piece & the beautiful poem. It was exactly right for me this morning as yesterday I had to have my cat put down. She wanted more days, but they were mostly bad.
Thank you so much for making such a contribution to us out here.

What a beautiful post. The day will never come when we're not inspired, wowed, rewarded, educated, enlighted, entertained or prompted to reflect with your posts, projects and collaborations. Love the poem and your latest Text Tile!

I wrote tonight about a religious memory and strong influence of Catholicism tonight and even if I want to walk away...I doubt if that day will ever come. You are a gifted advocate for simple kindness and a fresh poetic approach to sharing with others. Imagine and live in Peace, Mary Helen

I immediately fell in love with this piece and poem when I saw it here. Imagine my surprise and delight when my husband presented it to me on Mother's Day! I admit it. I got a little verklmept. :)

The texture and detail in real life are even more wonderful. Thank you so much, Seth!
