Change is in the Air

This time of year for me is about change and possibility.

The heat of the summer has begun to fade.

The leaves on the trees are preparing to explode with colors that only nature can create.

Perhaps it is a vestige of the yearly ritual of returning to school when I was younger that leads me to a place of new opportunities and new directions.

Both the excitement and the anticipation of what may come next linger in the air.

And with each passing day throughout autumn, the bounty of the season is revealed.

On Wednesday evening, join me here and here as a secret project of the season is revealed. The winds of change have arrived.

These are all fantastic pieces, Seth. Unfortunately, I'm going to be away from civilization for the next four days, but I'll check in when I return. We're having Indian Summer here. I need to be outdoors!

Since I moved to Australia I am longing to season change. I miss the autumn colours, the smell of snow in the air, the gentleness of the spring sun. Don't misunderstand me, Australia has its own beauties and uniqueness but... I guess it comes to the old saying: we can't have everything!

Great pieces here, Seth, and I will check on the secret project next Wednesday.

Love these Seth.
What are the size of the pieces? (they seem small, but visually powerful) The top one, for whatever reason, reminds me of New Orleans... :)

I just love these pieces, Seth. And I am with you on the possibilities with the new season. Fall is my favorite. Can't wait for the big reveal!

Seth, these are just amazing pieces! I can't wait for your reveal! In Southern California we don't really have seasons! I can't wait for the reveal.

Lovely art works and I too love the changing of this particular season, even though it's not AS colorful in California as it is on the east coast. I've seen that and nothing compares. You just have MORE trees that change colors.

These are gorgeous Seth, circles are my favourite shape. We are entering our spring, so blossoms are bursting forth and there's green everywhere.

I happen to love this series...I have shared your studio with all my artists who visit the studio...I am so proud of what you have given the world community of artists. I have more rusty "stew" cooking outside my deck door. I have had so much fun delighting in watching this process. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

I have no idea how you can continue to FALL into so many collaborations, write a book and keep up with your personal art (to say nothing of the day job). I'm not convinced that there aren't several of you. From now on I may call you Seths.

What beautiful pieces. You can sense autumn is in the air (even though it was a hot day where I live). Will come back on Wednesday to check out your project.

Now what have you two been up to this time. I am sure it will be wonderful. I just love all those pics with their autumnal colours. I love where I live but I really miss the clearly defined seasons and the colour and feel of the change that accompanies them.

Nice work and colorful.......

Although too many do not appear to like the change of seasons all around out here, even the cold of winter is welcome, if not for anything else but being cooped up inside (too many crazy drivers on 2 lanes out here) to be creative.

If I am going to see drop dead gorgeous stuff like this on Wednesday, then count me in. I love these pieces, especially the tree and leaf.

Cool stuff Seth! Your postings of studioscapes led me to the Cloth, Paper, and Scissors studio issue with pics of your studio. I bought the issue last weekend. Wonderful to see your studio/workplace in print, as well as others...I will now go clean up my studio! :)

Simply stunning, Seth! hope you are well - know I've been MIA for a while - blame it on FB - left the blogging world for a bit - hugs - Reva (Los Angeles)

Marvelous pieces! I envy anyone who lives where the seasons truly change, well, maybe not snowy winters, but certainly fall colors.

Everyone has already used all of the accolades I would use, so there's no sense in me writing anything.
