Seth, I've been following your blog and love your work..in short I've been seeking for a sign and despite much "promptings" presented to me in many forms in the past weeks, I asked for a sign last night ...Thank You!!
Ah, you and Dr. Frank-N-Furter give good advice! Technically, I think the song he sang was, "Don't dream it, be it"; close enough, right? Oh, now I see that someone else made that same association!
Wonderful new piece- both in the work itself with its subtle moving shades of color and the accompanying words. I wonder if the sky is high enough to want to go to-guess a mid level place is always good to regroup, rest, and then continue onward to your limitless possibilities to go higher! I think it's an interesting concept about personal limits in art, what we aspire to achieve, and if we reach a place in our work and really feel happy and fulfilled, can that in itself be reaching one's sky.
I've gotten in the habit of saving up your blog for a treat, coming when I have the time to really savor it...and wow! I am leaving this morning full of inspiration. Thanks for everything you share here. It is a visual feast!
What a beautiful piece this is seth, the landscape below and the water droplets dripping from the sky. Your words too, something so perfect for me to read right now... roxanne

This totally reminds me of one of the Rocky Horror songs, "Don't Dream it. Be it." :D
Great Smoky Mountains? BIG sky, anyway!
What does the Toy Story guy say? "To Infinity... and Beyond"! Same thought, different words. Love it Seth. And I'm trying, I'm trying!

Perhaps I should also embrace imperfection.
