What's New?

New survey questions have just been added to the sidebar of my blog. Head on over and have your say - totally anonymously of course!

The Pulse, edition #5, is starting with an open call. I have already had almost 150 artists ask for information. Join the party and email me. I will send you all the specs!

Iaso debuts in my Etsy shop. She is the Greek Goddess of Cures, Remedies, and Healing.

What's new with you?

I am dabbling with Derwent Inktense watersoluble Ink Pencils and Water Brushes (brushes with a water reservoir) ... I am finding them very much to my liking and really like the vibrant pure colors of the Inktense pencils once water has been applied.
Thanks for asking!

May you always have
Love to Share,
Health to Spare,
And Friends who Care!

just trying to be grateful in my stuck place and let go of my pre-conceived ideas of how the new installation should look. Term is almost over and in the meantime I am binding books and reveling in their sweet materiality and the joy of a technical binding done well. It is such a wonderful feeling to turn scraps of paper into books!

Packing for a trip out of the drab dry dusty depressing desert into the pine forests. It's been three years since my last escape. It's only for a few days but I've got my sketchbook, watercolors and ink. I am so happy about this. I wish I didn't have to come back, ever.

What's new with me is that I finally am well, and I've been painting up a storm, and now I'm going to go answer your poll questions. So, there!

Yay - I'm on board this time round. A little more time on my hands (I think??!!) Ha ha. Anyway, you're doing the good things here, Seth! I don't think that hand will stick around...

I'll be sending you an e-mail about the Pulse, now that I have my house painted. I've made NO art since February, except what I had to for swaps. I'm anxious to get back into some mixed media soon.
