My travels have come to an end and the events to celebrate the release of my book The Pulse of Mixed Media are winding down.
The book was released on March 2nd and the last two months have been a whirlwind of excitement and fun. I lost count of the number of artists and bloggers I met but I do know that I managed to have over 25 of the contributors sign my book...so far!
I have been posting bits and pieces along the way on my Facebook and Twitter accounts so you could all travel with me. Several posts covering all my book events will be up soon on my blog, with many pictures as promised.
My post office box runneth over and all these packages were waiting for my return. They are the remainder of the submissions for my 5 x 5 project. The deadline has passed and I thank the many of you who submitted. More information will be posted about this soon but I can tell you now that I have big plans for this project. BIG plans. So stay tuned!

Welcome home Seth!
Time to breathe a bit?
Sounds like the book tour has been incredible. Most people would come home for a well deserved rest but not you. Looks like the 5"x5" project had a great response. Can't wait to see what you've got brewing. In the meantime I hope you manage to fit some downtime in amongst it all, welcome home.
Welcome home! I'm glad your tour was a success!!
Gosh I hope my parcel is sitting there in the pile somewhere! I mailed it on time but my fate lies in the hands of the postal service...first Canada...and then the U.S. of A.! I have faith.
Well Seth it was wild fun meeting you. Looking forward to your future plans (BIG plans you say?)~yes, I am looking forward. *smiles* Norma
Very fun! And congratulations on giving us a great example of how to launch a publication!
What a great way to wind down your book tour, with a whole pile of new art to enjoy. Have a great week!
Seth, it's been fun to see your travels, I can't wait to find out all about the next great project.
It's been very enjoyable following your journey. Bet you're glad to be home!
Breathe in, breathe out.
It's been great fun following your tour around on the blogs.
I can imagine what a 'high' you've been on. Probably good that you have the project waiting, as it seems you are one who doesn't do idle very well.I'm really looking forward to seeing it. Thanks!
you are a trooper!
welcome home, breath . . . thanks for the fun ride.
Glad your travels were a huge success Seth.
I thought the art call was something you were taking on the trip! Looking forward to learning what it's really all about!
Glad to see you back. Can you now breathe? I still want to know what you plan to do with all those cancelled postage stamps (grin). What a goldmine for collage art!
What a memorable year 2012 has been for you so far!
Sitting down with all these packages...wow, lucky you! No need to ask if mine arrived, I see my stenciled envelope right on top!
Can't wait to hear about the big plans :)
Yep, a cowboy is lost without his saddle. :^)
welcome home! anxious to see what is inside all those envelopes!!
I bet you are happy to be back in NYC.. 11 days is a long time to be away even though you were meeting other artists on your book tour.. a very worthy and fun trip. I have been scrolling down and see that I have missed a lot. I was very pleased to meet you in person. I will be in NYC soon... and experience for a week what you live with full time.. lots of art!
Always fun to travel, but there is no place like home!
Last minute I submitted to your challenge. Five is my lucky number. You posted about the 5x5 square at 5:55!
I knew I had to find a way and send something. I wished for more time, but I snuck away from family and made my contribution. Hubby was on vacation; my muse doesn t come out when he is home. She can be shy. I look forward, to seeing photos and reading about your journey! : )
Sorry to have missed the 5x5 call ... rolling deadlines have trumped my time.
What a tease of envelopes! -J

I ordered your book today at the suggestion of Rice. Looking forward to its arrival.
Guess it's a time for deciding what the next project is Seth. Glad you've had such fun and so much success with the book. I look forward to seeing a little more 'Seth' art soon.
Thanks for sharing all your travels so we can live vicariously thru you.
Welcome home!!! Nothing like sleeping in your own bed :>)
