Small Talk: 2

It's a small world after all. My comfort zone in art is small. Really small. There is something about creating an entire world in a small space that I find intriguing.

Didn't officially measure this book, recently made in Australia using scraps laying on my work table. But I know it is less than 2 x 2 inches.

The best things come in small packages so they say (whoever 'they' are?) and this is a shining example of that! Love in every which way

I love working small! People are always asking me why I do that. Some of it is because of the scale of images I find and use. I have made a bunch of collage magnets on laminate samples, which sold well at craft fairs. My largest pieces to date are 12 x 18", for entry into shows around Houston. I made a few 4 x 4" collages on wood a couple of years ago, and what do you know -- one of them made it into the National Collage Society's 2017 annual juried show. Because it was my third time getting in such shows, I had the honor of becoming a Signature member. Glad I dared to enter my tiny art!
