StudioScapes: Chapter 3

Welcome to the fourth edition of The Pulse -- The State of the Art -- a survey in words and pictures of the online artist community. Nearly 150 artists have answered a list of questions which make up The Pulse. Their responses will be presented as a series of online and print projects. Links to the first two projects, Secret Sunday and The Book Guild, can be found on the sidebar of my blog.

StudioScapes is the third project and Chapter 3 starts right now! All artists participating in The Pulse were asked to submit a photograph of a favorite art-related vignette from their home or studio.

Once again, I have enjoyed the eclectic mix of artist studios and their collections.

Looking at the studio space of working artists often works as a trigger to get me into the studio to sketch ideas or outside into the courtyard to carve ..... if its not blowing gale force winds which it is today.

I have to thank you yet again for another opportunity to 'get into' the artist's studios that you've posted in Studioscapes. I'm off to visit!!

Another Sunday StudioScape tour. Just love to look closely at what everyone has selected as touching them in some way. From inspiration boards to their studio work space( great to see peeks at art supplies)- to vignettes of a scene that connects with them- it's all a great sunday treat!

Phew, wasn't too bad after all! I couldn't remember which pics I sent you and was thinking it would be boxes and paint chaos from packing, LOL! Wonderful to see everyone's creative corners of the world Seth. I'm really enjoying this series.

LOVE rachel and lani's glass/arms/bottles and the rest of the photos are equally divine and wonderful to peek at. thank you again, seth, for all that you do and share with the rest of us.

Thanks so much for including me in StudioScapes Seth. Little did I know when I took that photo of my "tidy" studio that when it would appear on your blog I will have moved to a new home/studio. Even better as it's bigger and has the most beautiful view and plenty of natural light. Studio cats are enjoying it too!
