And the Beat Goes On

I want to thank everybody who participated in the fourth and most recent version of The Pulse, my online collaborative survey. Last Sunday was the last posting for this edition. Thank you to both the contributing artists and to all of you who have visited and commented faithfully every Sunday since November 22, 2009. This most recent edition of The Pulse has included:

Secret Sunday

Secrets of your favorite artists revealed

The Book Guild
Book reviews, author interviews, giveaways

True Colors
Personal reflections from 14 of the artists from True Colors

StudioScapes
Images of your favorite artists' studio spaces and homes

Viewer's Choice
Top blogs, websites, Etsy shops, and online stores as chosen by your favorite artists

Collectors Edition
Images and descriptions of your favorite artists' collections and obsessions

Links to each and every post in this series, as well as the links to the three previous versions of The Pulse, can be found on the sidebar of my blog.

The Pulse began in January 2008 with a group of 35 artists and has grown to include nearly 150 participants. Next year, my first book based on The Pulse will be published by North Light Books. But before that, help me make The Pulse bigger and better than ever...

The Pulse. Fifth Edition.

Open call.

Stay tuned!

Unbelieveable! I mean I've read a ton of Pulse edition and participated in some, but it's amazing to realize what a huge body of collaborative work this is, hosted by you! WOW!

I think far and away my fav part of the whole thing is discovering artists I didn't know about before and learning something new about people I thought I knew fairly well.

Can't wait for the next edition!

Seth- what an extraordinary body of work-an accomplishment of truly monumental proportions! It's been such a great treat to visit each week throughout these fascinating chapters - all so rich with contributions from so many different artists! So glad to have gotten on when I did and become a part of this journey- meeting so many wonderful artists and enriched by so much talent and inspiration. Thank you for all of your time, energies, and creative imagination to think of these projects, the questions and dedication to putting it all together. Look forward to your next surprise for us!

Congratulations Seth! As everyone above has said so well - what an accomplishment!! Your commitment and talent for taking and stimulating the pulse of so many creative souls is inspiring and very exciting. I've enjoyed being turned on to so many new people, techniques and images - and I know I will continue to be. I'm especially excited to get in line for your book when it's hot off the press! Bravo my friend :)

What an amazing accomplishment, Seth. Congratulations.

By the way, have you chosen your contributing artists for your book? Just wondering if I should continue to keep my Fearless Face out of the public eye.

The Pulse is such an approriate title for your blog because at each visit I feel symbiotic with the heart beat of fellow artists and appreciate the time and effort it takes to put it together. I look forward to the next chapter. You are a tremendous role model for what it takes to put together a meaningful blog that's always worth a visit and compels a comment.
