Buried Treasure 2012

Welcome to Buried Treasure: an online, collaborative project that invites art bloggers to go into the depths of their blogs and dig for buried treasure. Each participant was asked to repost one (or more) or their favorite posts from their own blog. There are so many brilliant artists out there but so little time to explore all their work fully. This gives us all an opportunity to see highlights from posts we may have missed from so many of our favorite bloggers!

Click on the links below to go to the blog posts of the participants. Please check back here often as I will be updating this list continuously as more people post. The links are numbered so you can keep track of what you have seen. Believe you me, this will take you more than one sitting. Please note that I will soon add a link to this post from my sidebar so that these links will always be easily accessible!

If you are a blogger on a treasure hunt and you do not find your name on the list, please email me and I will add your link. And it is not too late to join in. I will be adding links until Sunday, July 15th. So if you are interested in digging for treasure on your own blog, click here for the details.

I started to visit the links from the top... I'm at 15 now (hi Jill!!!) and about to crash on the couch (yep, it's evening in Holland!) I know when I look in the morning, there will even be more names ('cause mine isn't on the list still... and it WILL be, and I guess a lot more too...) I hope to work my way down this week so... SEE YOU ALL!

Seth, it was amazing to go back through my posts to try to decide which one to use for buried treasure. I finally decided to post one from the Apron Project/Womyns Work. The link is here:

Hi, Seth
I just received Kelly Moore's 'Absurdity is my Friend' in the mail today. Wow! What a genius of an artist he is. Like I said, he is as good as Picasso. Thank you so very much for the chance to win his book. (I just wish he could have personally signed it, but as with most artists, they either don't have the spare time to sign things or they are too humble to realize their signature is always appreciated).
I am enjoying going to the various blogs who are participating in your genius idea of the 'Treasure Hunt'
Have a great Friday and weekend!
Cheers!
And thanks ever so much again!

I sure have enjoyed going to these blogs, Seth. I am only a third of the way finished viewing them.
Oh, and thank you for your quick note about me missing the giveaway date. I need to post about your new videos on my blog.
Have a prosperous week!

thanks seth....this is a great way to connect with others, creating can be very solitary at times.....it's good to have a look at what others are creating & to be able to communicate with them too!
