Great colors and textures! It makes me think of raku pottery. Beautiful!

Mmmmm, it's like the visual equivalent of the taste of an English muffin... all those nooks and crannies holding the good stuff (butter in the case of the English muffin, light and shadow in the case of your paintings). Ok so perhaps that's an weird simile/metaphor, but the phrase "nooks and crannies" makes me think of the old Thomas' English Muffins commercials. Right. So... I also agree with hollyllama that it looks like raku pottery, too. So awesome.
