Many thanks to everybody involved in DisCo - the DISintegration COllaboration. I am sending a big shout out to all the artists who joined this collaboration, all the people who have been following the project, and to everybody who has emailed me and/or left comments about the posts.
So far 84 participants have posted their "after" images. You can find them all on the sidebar of my blog under the "disintegration collaboration - after" icon. As more artists post, I will add a link to their site at the bottom of the list. So stay tuned for 39 more bundles!
And there is more. Stay tuned for the next part of the project. All artists have been asked to create an artwork using some or all of the disintegrated material from their bundles. Disintegration becomes integration. Destruction becomes renewal. On August 1 each participant will reveal their work of art on their blog. I cannot wait to see what each of these talented artists come up with!
I have decided to take a brief blogging break in the upcoming days. A time out to finish up this part of DisCo and to focus on actually creating some new art. I will be back soon...with highlights from the project, new posts, new art and photography, a restocked Etsy, and info about my next project...The Pulse IV. But, as I always say on these breaks, don't be surprised if posts pop up sooner rather than later.
A reminder to visit my Inspiration Station. Click the icon on my sidebar to be taken to the post, video, website, artwork, etc. that is inspiring me in the moment. So you know when it is updated, I will add the date next to the icon whenever I change the link. And I will be linking to different sources of inspiration during this brief blogging break. So continue to visit and try it out today to see some amazing and quite inspiring photographs.
I leave you with an image safari...scenes from the streets of New York. Click the images to enlarge.
See you soon!

My friend....you are entitled to a huge break! Thank you for YOUR constant inspiration!
Indeed, take a break, while I apply my brain waves and try to intuit what the next project will be. Pulse IV? Was that its title? Hmmmm. Thanks for the New York art. I saw some Oregon art today: piles of pink petals in the gutter along the street. Yum! Like melting ice cream. - Jeanne

Love ya!
Hi Seth...it's all so awe inspiring, you are the no 1 in 'collaboration' ideas.
This has been so wonderful to read about and observe, and I have loved seeing individual results of a few of the other blogs that I read.
Hey Seth! GREAT artwork from the streets... did you photoshop any of those, or are they "as is"?!? Terrific! Hey, I've got a post all set to go up tomorrow, May 8, around 6am, for the Disco-Inferno... I'm so proud of me! Only one week late!!! Hope all is well, thank you again for hosting such a cool project. xoxo
NY streets of art fabulous, thanks for the experience thru your eyes.
OK I know I haven't done the unveiling for the DISintegration collaboration. But we have had a ton of rain and as soon as it started drying a bit it would rain again. Last night it poured rain again but I've opened my package and it's drying, I will post pics on my blog when they are dry!
Seth, I love your New York images. Great stuff! Just so you know, you were my Inspiration Station in yesterday's blog post.

thanks, Seth ... I got a bit lost in the photo's that you shared ... the one with the leaves & the bird have me wanting to get outside ... not a bad idea, actually.
happy creation time!
Thumbing through an old book on poetry, I can across something called concrete poems, poems for the eye, and in that chapter was one by Richard Kostelanetz (1970, consisting of one word that disintegrated down to a series of dots. And the word was ....DISINTEGRATION.
Cheers, Colette
Great NY snaps. Always something to catch the camera's eye!

Have a great break! You really deserve some Seth-time.

Cool stuff!
I was in NY last week for a couple of days. One evening I looked you up in the Phone Directory and was very tempted to ring you and see if I could look at some of your work - but the moment passed and next day we were gone. Bundle still up and suffering from the weather. As soon as I am back to "normal" I shall begin to create my art work. Best wishes.
Wow - the images 'around NYC" are breathtaking!
Great views of NY! Enjoy your break Seth xoxo
Wowee! Great Works!
Blessings, peace, and love to you,
Tonya
Have a nice break Seth! Oh, and would you believe, I'm still waiting for my bundle to dry out?? It's nearly winter here and its so damp with late autumn rain...my bundle still continues to disintegrate...only, it's the mould doing the work now! Lol!
Thanks for the image safari. Soul food.
