One more. Just one more. My first posting on just one more collaboration that I have been involved in. Think raw. Think grunge. Think personal. Think real. Think self...contained. Viv and Steph and I have created our own structures and each of us has completed one go round, working on another artist's project.
Glimpse of my work in Steph's piece - click to see the detail:
Glimpse of my piece -- before the first mailing & waiting to be worked on:
I am now waiting to receive Viv's piece for my first go round.
Click here to see the beginning of Steph's piece and here to see a glimpse of her work in Viv's project. And click here for a peek into Viv's work in my project. And stay tuned for more...
I am also thoroughly enjoying my ongoing collaboration with Bridgette and Jen. I am currently working on a spread in my own book Contexture. Here is a glimpse of my pages in progress...which is symbolic of how I think of myself...a work in progress.

If you're looking at glimpses of yourself, love your mirror! As for your Inspiration Station, it's the cherry on top of your cake! Your posts are always a treat - to see both all of your super collaborations and the artistic talents of those you work with. One of your continued greatest collaborations is that with us- your fans who love to come back to see all that you are doing, that those you are working with are doing, and the possibilites that we ourselves can do!
Have been following the collaboration over on Jen Wordens site and think its wonderful. Loving the texture in this Seth, cant wait to see more detail of course:)
More beautiful pictures of your collaborations. The black and white picture is very striking.
This is great!! We are all works in progress, whether in our lives, or our art................
"Think raw. Think grunge. Think personal. Think real. Think self...contained." I think your work is stunning.
I'm thinking we need to do a collab on the theme "Endurance" Seth. Maybe after the IM. What do you think??
will be interesting to see what happens to your book, i like the picture of it...looks like a crisp chunky wafer waiting to be bitten into. you have so much going on its hard to take it all in. good for you for all the posts and comments and interactions!
It's all just so wonderful! All that texture and color. Must set your head to spinning at times. I know it does mine.
Great snapshots of the work in progress. Its easy to tell you are enjoying these collaborative works.
these collaborations are so interesting :)
Love the idea behind this post Seth. I really wish I had seen some of your work when I was in New York recently - it looks so full of vitality - and i love all those blues.
When you come back from a little break, you really come back don't you! The closeup pics are fantastic, your textures and colors really speak to me. Lucky collaborators! Thanks for so many neat links to check out too!
beautiful work (as always), seth! i love the glimpses you always share -- makes me wish i lived close enough to come peek at the whole piece in person, feel its rough edges and subtle protrusions (i got in "trouble" the other day touching the art in a restaurant!). you and your work are stunning. thanks for all that you share.
Hi Seth, wow, another yummy collaboration! I just got back from visiting your links and fellow art players and can see it's going to be another really good one!! Looking forward to seeing bigger bits than just these little teases :)
I find some of my inspiration by sitting on my back door step ...sitting still is essential to my journey and then I reach out to others through artists like you Seth. The layers and textures invite the privileged viewer to stop and study this moment in time. Thank you for your generous and kind spirit. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen
Ooo! Can't wait to see everything. Love the textures.
as usual love all the texture in your pieces~looking forward to seeing much more~
here's hoping all of us are smart enough to remain works in progress ... :)
am LOVING your blue WIP - the texture ... *sighs*
I love what I am seeing so far!
