what? no stitches???
just kidding, this is great! I love the x's lots of kisses!
Love your newest artwork-with the words you've chosen, the prominent keyhole and that provocative penetrating eye looking out. What a counter play on the thought of..."what lies within". Another wonderful and powerful piece - with your infamous textures and layers and the wonderful play of blues and turquoise. Just great!
How intriguing!
Keyholes, yes, so very nice...
yes, good words. love the color too
I love textures and layers, the eye and the lock
Oooo, this has a kind of creepy feel to it - in a good way though. I found a keyhole rubber stamp yesterday and wondered what I could do with it. This is great inspiration.
I really like this one, Seth; the words and the keyhole go together so well to create a feeling of mystery.
Great texture and colour combination as usually. I admire your work and feel honoured that you visited my blog and took time to leave comment. Thank you so much!!!
Love the eerie eye - I would not necessarily want to see what "lies within" on a dark night!!! I do love the way you put it all together!!!
This is wonderful! I love that rusty bit right in the center then exploring the whole piece. Thanks for sharing.
Love the color and the eye looking out (from within)... something about looking OUT of a keyhole...clever.
This is GREAT!
I just bought this, and I am soooooo psyched. Jill Z said it well -- "provocative", "powerful", and "wonderful" -- I agree!
Very masculine in kind of architectural way-cool colours cool piece

You are the best at textures and layers..I do wish oh how I wish I lived in NY instead of in the middle of no where AL. No one here wants to create..I am so thankful for the computer... Thank you for always sharing and inspiring.

Beautiful, mysterious, provocative.
And sold! How nice is that?!
I have been off the computer for a day and your lovely art has already sold. The colors in this piece are fantastic.
I also read with interest your thoughts and plans for a Hands altered book. I'm so glad you made (are making) this wonderful book. It is simply to die for.
Very cool. I love the eye looking out from behind the keyhole. Very mysterious.
No suprise this baby sold! Great piece, I love keyholes and eyes, I have piece of jewellry I constructed on this theme too. Great minds and all that, LOL!
Mmmm... I love these colours! The eye peeping through the keyhole makes you wonder whats through the keyhole, indeed, what lies within.

Your creations are always a colorful breath of fresh air! A really fabulous color combination as usual. Love all the different layers of blues and turquoise.
Just great, Seth!
breathtaking... the way you created this "old wooden wall" effect with paint... OHMYGOSH! And I have a free weekend... where's my paint!!!
Wow, that eye makes all the difference doesn't it? It draws the viewer in immediately. You are the master of textures and layers!
What a mysterious piece this is... i love the keyhole too... and the colors... your new secret sunday is wonderful as well...I have to go back and read it again... Roxanne
