In Every Wind
Last in the series, here is one more set of pages that I completed for the Inner Works altered book collaboration that has just ended.
Roxanne Evans Stout - Earth Tones
embroidered over with millions of silver flowers
where olive leaves were twinkling in every wind that blew
Thank you Supria, Jill, Roxanne, Rita, and Veronica for sharing this experience with me.

seth, I like the way you have done each set of pages with such understanding! did you do all your sets of pages as groups or did this involve doing one page at a time and sending it on? kind of hard to word that question. hope its clear. thanks for showing us.lyle
OMG, I love these, Seth! Man, I wish I could hold them and study them up close. You are so talented.

the chewy textures in these pieces are just outstanding.
More pages that I never got to see. Just love them and of course, your wonderful poetic words. What great layers of various materials and such an assortment of textures and "earth tones" throughout your pages. Just love them!
fantastic - love the organic feel & metal bits
I agree with Jeannette - I want to examine these up close. I want to see the books in their entirety. OK, I'll tell the truth - I want to STEAL them!!!
I am just like your art worshipers except I want to see them published...are you listening Universe? The earthy colors and textures make you want to reach out and hold these sacred pages in my hands. This is quite a challenge and a such a brilliant leap of faith! Enjoy the snowflakes...go out and make a snow angel! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
I really enjoy seeing your strong styled work.
Before I ever saw the title of the book, I thought "Nature." Rust is definitely an earth tone and the natural elements, the key, everything, just screamed earth tones. You are to be commended and applauded.
a wonderful wrapping of ribbons and wire, twisting of metals and and connecting with paint.
I am so glad I get to see these, all your work. It's like being invited to a most incrediable art gallery in my own home of the most amazing art pieces. Thank YOU!
Greetings,
I have so much to catch as I have see that I have missed a lot of interesting artwork of yours.

Such divine work Seth, the colours and textures sing.
Great colour combos here. Love the bulls eye.
i love the top image. really nicely done. steven
Beautiful..simple yet complex. love the exposed texture of the pages and your color choices.
thanks so much for stopping over to peak in at my Wabi Sabi images Seth...I appreciate that a lot
:-)
I really love the earthiness of what you're doing here with texture and combos..your color sense is glorious.
Hummm as I was looking and experiencing theses awesome pages I was thinking how they seem masculine to me. Are they? I don't know that for sure.
When I pick up stuff from the streets or junk yard, I pick up large and small pieces but when I go to work I leave the chunkier pieces in the wind.
I have taken classes from males and you all come from a different direction. That's why we all do so well together!
~so inspiring are you with your words and art...i adore the page with the skeleton leaves and key...such beauty lies on those pages! brightest blessings~
as always, a delight of texture, subtle color, and compositional response to the theme...thanks for sharing. you inspire.
Very inspiring seth.
Absolutely amazing, beautiful art! The variety of your pages has been stunning.
gorgeous and wonderful eye candy!!!
oxo
so 'earthy', so elemental-- rusty, circular, and complete
Incredible! I am just blown away by your work in these different books, each with a different mood and style. Just wonderful.

Stunning work Seth! Gosh, I love seeing the work you all did on this collaboration.
Without a doubt, my favorite set. Everything about it...the colours, the textures, the shapes...just perfect.
Thankyou for your visits..much appreciated!
Gorgeous work ! Love your assemblages
Beautiful, simply beautiful!
Oh, wow, Seth. You have really got to go to the Met and get an installation there. The beauty of your rusty work and your attention to detail are so amazing. I want a whole wall of your work, and while I couldn't buy that many pieces, I'm thinking of having them reproduced and spread all around the originals I was lucky enough to get!
Thanks for your unique vision.
