they really do have the feel of what I imagine it would be like to explore in desert sands
That top one is perfect for easter time!
Loving your textures and rusty close ups!
I want you to know I read your posts almost every time your write and I love to see what you are working on. Because of you I look for old metal thingys now and wonder what I can do with them! Some day I will have the gumption to actually put some things together. Enjoy your Easter.
Facinating! :)Bea
I simply love anything you make with metal in it. These are no exception.
Happy Easter. I'll see you tomorrow.
wonderful texture & color once again
These are really nice pieces, Seth! The colors, the textures, everything- very crunchy! (that's a good thing)
Truly fabulous.
Awesome work Seth, Awesome!!!
Beautiful piece of art. The rust is like aged love. Perfect touch.
These pieces are wonderful Seth. I've just spent an hour .... or more ... scrolling down through your blog, enjoying everything all over again. There are some pieces you've created that make my heart just about jump out of my chest. Your conteXture pages especially. Have you thought of opening a Flickr file so we can look at all your work together? I'm addicted to Flickr!
Fantastic pieces!
Terrific! i love terresa's comment "rust is like aged love". . .
seth - do you "rust" your own? or do you find items that already "rusted"?
if the former, what do you use?
Having lived in the desert for many years..this really does have a feel of the desert sands. xxwell donex lynda
I'm with Robyn on the opening of a Flickr page! I know, more computer time! Both great pieces Seth. Love that blue paper in the background of 'Dune' that keeps turning up in various pieces.
Crossing and Dune are just perfect pieces to reflect Desert sands. Love the contrasting layered colors and rough textures-more of your superb works to smile at!
I like your combination of rusty metal with aqua blue in "Crossing".
Great work!
I am so pleased to see that I'm not the only one who collects runned-over bottle caps in carparks!
again such excellent use of street treasure ... some great rusty bits going on and then there's your use of color ...always wonderful!
Love it!
