~unique and fascinating pieces you have created here...interesting and they keep ones attention...i like the "found objects" adds real character and age to these...as always l♥vely! brightest blessings~
I have an old rusty part of a hoe and am going to look for some more parts to put with it. It might take me awhile to find things, but at least I have a start.
seth, i love this 'desert sands' series... just wonderful.
Great continuation of your desert sand pieces! Shield has great depth and when I look up close, the background has such a textured quality! Rich colors, wonderful layers and love the rusted layers of your centerpiece. Super series!
Fabulous... the green really ties it all toghether.
Everything is blooming here in the desert, lots of color and there must be 100 shades of green.
So for me this piece is what is happening right outside my window.
A unique series Seth - bring on the rust!
I wish I could find my eyelets. I found the tool box to set them, but guess I'll have to go shopping. Then I can do some "riveting" work, too. Love the rust and sandy colors.
When I first saw the title, I was going to make some wise crack about Bleubeard's playground, then saw the beauty of this piece and thought better of it. When I first looked at the top image in this post, I thought the green was either water or resin in a dish. Shows how images can be manipulated, if for nothing more than your own eye's sake. This is truly an interesting piece.
Cool series ! You have always inspired many of us.
I am just curious...with the rebirth of greens in every tree and bush...what carried your inquisitive heart to desert sands? I have been spoiled forever to the beauty found in rusty evolution because of your generous inspirations. The world is such a wonderful place. Your images and works are mesmerizing and hold onto my heart's eye. Have a great weekend and I will check in tomorrow for the book guild. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
fabulous work as always seth.. :)
Seth *s i g h* What is it about these compositions you do with wire and metal grommets that make my heart leap out of my chest?? Something in me recognizes them. Somehow they represent something both internal and linked to so much more then myself!
