Making Waves

He reached toward the sky, as if to say "nothing can stop me." Not the passing of time or the ravages of age. I remain who I am. Forever striving. Forever hoping. And never giving up. Making waves.

He reached toward the sky, as if to say "nobody can stop me." Not those who deny or those who criticize. I live only my truth. Moving forward. Moving onward. And never giving in. Making waves.

Beautiful works Seth- just stunning! All three of these "Making Waves" pieces are amazing as is the poetry that accompanies them. There's something magical about these hands- holding a special quality that has the life force to, as you say, enable one to reach for the sky and go on no matter what! Just breathtaking!!! Mesmerizing!

These are fabulous, Seth!
I find these hands so intriguing - and I love the antiquated, rustic vibe.
They'd all look great with my own "hand collection," but they'd need a spotlight! :)

I love, love, love these pieces, Seth. The poetry that accompanies them is a perfect touch. The images of hands have really been speaking to me lately and it's amazing that these pieces would show up just now!

This is way cool, Seth, and the words make the piece. Powerful symbolic image; I think images of hands are very touching (no pun intended, really).

Absolutely terrific! Endearing little hands reaching for the sky, even when they can't see what they are reaching for. Isn't that what all of us are doing? Well, all artists, anyway. Best to you. Keep creating!

These are wonderful Seth, you should do more of these assemblages! I know they are part of a series, but this style suits you so well! Love the antique look of the hands.

These are great, the kind of thing that would have terrified me as a kid, especially if they made shadows against the wall. These days, they just make me smile!

Beautiful words to accompany these delightful pieces. I love how the tones of Spes makes it appear as if the whole piece is glowing.

These are fabulous Seth!
I just took a two day Michael deMeng workshop and used a hand (and arm) on one of my loteria cards...I have a thing for hands too!
I always enjoy the ancient effects you get in your artwork
