Sending out thanks to everybody who left a comment on my post announcing my three year blogging birthday. Your support and encouragement has been and will always be greatly appreciated. Over 100 of you entered my giveaway where you had to leave three words that describe the types of things you would want from a shopping spree in NYC. Apparently, Pat had a Pat Hand.
I couldn't resist.
Congratulations Pat . . . what a fun adventure this is going to be both in the finding and in the receiving. Have a great weekend.
Yipppeee! I feel like I just won the lottery!
I can't wait to see what Seth will find during his NYC shopping spree but I KNOW that whatever it is it will be AMAZING. And the best part is that I get to share this with all you--all 800 bajillion faithful blog readers--when he posts about his shopping adventure on the altered page. It's a win for everyone.
Congratulations Seth on your three year blogging birthday and thanks for coming up with the most creative giveaway I've ever seen!
Oh yeah, and for not sending me decrepit chocolate. :)

Congrats to Pat..such a fun adventure for all! I Love the laundry list of creative words...truly poetic.
This list would make great reading when you are having one of those blocked times. Brilliant.
Congratulations Pat. What a wonderful list of words to go shopping with! Perhaps we should all choose three of those words, and go on the hunt/go shopping then post what we came up with. so cool.
How wonderful for Pat. I can't wait to join you on your shopping trip for chocolate. Would be glad to send you my decrepit self with "postage due" to NYC to be the example of what you should look for (grin). What a personal gift this will be.

Congrats SETH for being three (totally missed some post AND your blogbirthday - I have been away for a while) and congrats PAT for winning!
LOVE this post Seth, it's an inspiration and I picture all those words on a large piece of paper and I a brush in my hand and... ooohhh... you always manage to get the ideas flowing! Enjoy your weekend!
being into words I love all the lists of words here-- am making notes and lists of the lists. wish I go on the shopping spree with you as I love walking around NYC.
I was away for a week during the contest but I think my favourite words from your lists have to be bumpy, creepy and architectonic (just 'cos it's such an architectural word). Congratulations Pat.
This was FUN! My head is swimming in all those words! Lucky Pat...have fun shopping for her, somehow I know you will enjoy it and make it extra special.
Congratulations Lucky Pat! Would love to see pics of what you make with your spree bonanza. Thanks Seth for posting all the words. That was a fun read and chocolate for thought. Have a great time on your treasure hunt.
that is a whole lot of verbal goodness. what I love about your blog is how you bring your readers in and make them a part of it. you have a people talent.
congrats on 3 years, here's to 3 more.
Congratulations again on your blog turning 3 and lucky Pat who will be gifted by you with her 3 words. Love how you categorized everyone's words- what an assortment of such a variety of interests. Just thinking- if everyone in their own home town looked out for these categories of items, wonder if they would end up similar or very different.
Great post. Enjoying your blog. Warmly, Karen
