Giving thanks!

Sitting in my NYC studio on the 29th floor...

inspired by the view...

tethered to the computer...

next to my inspiration wall...

starting a new project...

I got to thinking how fortunate I am.

And how appreciative I am for all of YOU!

Sending thanks to each and every one of you who have supported me in my adventure in the world of art. The journey could never have happened without ya!

As a thank you, I would like to giveaway gift boxes to two different people, each filled with some of the items that I have been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to create...

---------------------
To be eligible for the giveaway, please leave a comment on this post. Comments will close at the end of the day on Monday 4/21 and two people will be selected using a random numbers table. Winners of the giveaway will be contacted by email, so please be sure that I have your email address.

Comments are now closed and the giveaway is complete. Congratulations to both Nickalli Braaten and Ruth Satterlee for winning!!

Seth, I am so blessed to count you among my friends. You have such a kind heart and generous spirit. Your strength as an artist lies in your ability to knit together community and to celebrate what is beautiful & unique in each of us. This is why people adore you! (Okay that plus the fact that you are wickedly talented.) you deserve ever success. May it keep on coming!

As an artist in the midst of restructuring & refining my goals and business - I am thankful for an appreciate bloggers and fellow creatives like YOU who not only share your expertise and knowledge with us, but work diligently to bring us all together as a community!

Also - I think ya should modify the prize box contents to include that fab NYC studio (or, at least the view! how cool!) ;) :D

I'm kind of just a lurker at this point so maybe I don't deserve to win. (and I don't mean that Debbie downer whiney, just master of fact!) My art is kind of murky lurky too. I have lots of supplies and inspiration, but there's that thing holding me back - fear of failure. I'm all potential right now which is pretty safe but not satisfying. Some day I'll jump in and start realizing my dreams, but only because there are amazing creative people like you sharing your dreams. Thank you. And please consider that for every person that comments there are probably at least 10 lurkers admiring from afar.

You do have a lot to be thankful for Seth. Some people would kill for a studio on the 29th floor in New York (me, for instance). Of course I'd kill for a lot of things...your stencils being one. Silly, old (not TOO old), homicidal me.

Thanks for the continuing inspiration, Seth. I'd love to have any part of your give-away.

What an amazing view - no wonder it inspires you!

Seth you are very generous, as well as a very talented artist. I kind of identify with the anonymous commenter at 12.03 pm - lots of potential and supplies, but afraid to jump in and make a start. Thank goodness for artists like yourself, who can inspire us and show us that it IS possible if we take that leap of faith!

Seth,
The Dossier Class was the first time I didn't really "stay in the box". My true colors came out, but the application process was a hard concept for me to do physically...just accepting my "happy accidents" as a part of the creative process.
It proves that one is never too old to learn and try different things. Challenges are what keeps people's minds young.
Hopefully, I will get to be in your company again.
Pat
PS I have done a lot of "expediating" this week...lol
