The Week Links: 81

Join me every Sunday when I share some of my favorite links I discovered in the previous week. Earlier posts in the series can be found here.

And here is Week 81...

1. A Wall of Color, A Window to the Past

2. The (art) Journaling Game

3. Stir indigo while adding water once a week for 120 day.

4. 58,000 dog tags hang - one for every US soldier who died in the Vietnam War.

5. These shots are details from the most amazing miniature environments from Rick Araluce.

12.5 x 6.5 x 4 inches

16 x 8 x 3.75 inches

6. The 100 Gates Project is transforming closed storefronts in NYC into street art.

Very interesting selection. Can't wait to share "A wall of color, a window to the past" with my friend in Richmond. She is a painter, a huge colourist and will love reading this! Have a great Holiday Week!

The dog-tag installation really highlights the dreadful toll that war takes. Always love to see street art improve drab walls. My favourite tho' is the porcelain sticks. My friend, Kim Schoenberger, incorporates porcelain 'bones' into some of her mini-sculptures. Thanks Seth.
