Final Exam
A review of the recent exhibition "Below the Surface" which included two of my artist books (Billboard and Underground) just appeared online on examiner.com and can be found here. The review also includes a brief slide show highlighting some of the books that were exhibited.

Congratulations, Seth! Your beautiful work inspires me, and I am glad it inspired the article writer as well. Wish I could have seen the exhibit! I really love billboard, and would love to see more of Underground, as well.
Well done, Seth!!
Congratulations! What gorgeous grunginess.
Beautiful work Seth.
Awesome work. I hope to be half as good as you one day.
Merry Christmas~

Two gorgeous contrasting works... both amazing pieces. I love the brightness and texture in Underground and the complex details and color in Billboard. Billboard reminds me a lot of Peter Beard's collages which I've highlighted in my Pulse Survey.
Congratulations Seth!! Your work is really wonderful, so many layers, so much meaning in each piece, so very visually appealing.
How cool to get an interview for the review. Congratulations again.
Seth, I tried the link to the examiner but it is giving me a 404 error. I also tried just visiting their arts and entertainment link from the main site and that too gave an error. I will try again later to see. Congrats to you on the exhibit!
Looks like you are in with some great company, Seth. Your interview was well deserved, as was the page the newspaper choose as their lead.
It's nice to see the follow up of this exhibit and a peek once again at your amazing books. Thanks for providing the links so we can see these one more time.
That should have read "chose." I know how to spell, just not how to type.
Congratulations Seth. I enjoyed the article, the slide show, your books and the other artists' books as well. Did you get to meet the other artists? I also was intrigued by the work of Mary Ellen Campbell at her web site. Great links! Thanks.
I love the piece included in the review. Well done Seth!
BRAVA-/OH!!
wonderful company you keep in the art book world! great review and slideshow, CONGRATS!!...and of course, i'm intrigued with mary ellen campbell's ROCK books, and pieces from NATURAL MATIERIALS featured on her site. makes my head spin thinking of possibilities for all my little bits of nature/love of rocks...ARCHES!
it's really fabulous and fitting that your art is 'getting out there' Seth
Kudos to you!!!
I love the slideshow and the article... what a wonderful exhibit to be a part of! roxanne
Congratulations !
I am very partial to maps so I really enjoyed getting to see both pieces.
Excellent!.. congratulations Seth.
I am so happy more people have been made aware of your sacred marks. Inspiration does not grow in a vacuum and sharing in the printed pages offers us all to chance to CHEER!!! Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen
Congratulations! Wishing I had one of your books open in front of me right here. Love the slide show. Thanks for posting.
Thank you, Seth, for bringing all of this wonderful art and life wisdom together in one place.
Makes me feel so honored and proud to call myself artist.
Happy Sunday !
Loving it Seth!
hello Seth,
your book is a real beauty : I really, really love all the depth and layering in it.
greetings from belgium
Inge
Congrats! Wonderful to see a book artist doing so well for themselves and for the art form itself.
Great publicity Seth! Billboard looks very interesting from seeing the cover. Years ago I saw an exhibit in Paris of giant works of art from the 50's that had the same inspiration of aged billboards. I'll need to find some of those postcards that I got from the exhibit because I can't remember the artist's name.
Seth,
Thanks for having Secret Sunday.
Also thank you for sharing your wonderful work.
Take care,
Katelen
VERY cool, Seth! Wish I could see it in real.
congratulations, seth!!
