Studio in the Sky

Happy to share that my 'Studio in the Sky' is featured in the book Inside the Creative Studio by Cate Coulacos Prato.

Inside the Creative Studio: Inspiration and Ideas for Your Art and Craft Space

Inside the Creative Studio shares the art studio spaces of more than 30 artists and includes images, interviews, tips, and more. It is available now for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also preview the pages in the book. And if you want a preview of my studio, you can head to this post from my blog from August 2010.

Love this, very cool. Thanks for the heads up about the show too . . . I'd been wondering when Work of Art was going to be coming on TV again. Loved it last year.

How cool, Seth. I love that your studio appears organized and functional - while at the same time, is an enticing, light-filled space. I can see how you would be inspired there.
Can't wait to get the book, as I am presently remodeling my studio!
Congrats on being featured in the book!

Well done. Congratulations with being published. I can't imagine it is easy to share so much of such a personal space. PS I have library drawer envy now.

I love to see other artist studios too -- and yours is a beauty. Does it take over your whole apartment? What area in NYC is it?

Glad for you Seth.

I personally become terribly green with envy when I see others studios. I can't read the magazine as I just will never have such a space and my space even though I like what I create in it is nothing special and not spacious at all. And looking at the others brings out the worst in me. I am happy for other's nice places but can't seem to move past WANTING it too!!!

Oh my, so organized and tidy, unlike my studio space which is full of clutter!
Congratulations on the book feature.

Congrats with the pub Seth and oooooh, am I jealous of your studio!!! In fact - I'm jealous at everyone who has a studio! yep, you understand... I don't have my own place. I still work in the dining room but my son will move out of the house soon and although I don't like that ('empty nester', brrr!) I definitely will pick his room as my own! I would love to take a look in all those drawers you show Seth... I'm especially curious at what's inside the 'acces denied' drawer *teehee*

I notice that my comments from my iPhone are not being posted correctly (by me, I'm sure) and so I have waited until getting to work to come back here. My home computer is not working.

Congrats to you for this, my friend!

You know...everytime I think that I don't have enough space...I think of your studio. And as we consider downsizing in a year and a half...I have to remember your studio! Cool space, sir!
