My Week on Crescendoh

Featured on CRESCENDOh.comI am honored to have been asked by Jenny Doh to be a guest curator on Crescendoh. Jenny's website is all about celebrating the best of art and of being an artist. The subtitle says it all: "Creative Passion, Authentic Community, Focused Compassion."

If you have never been there before, be prepared to get comfortable and stay awhile.

My week as guest curator begins today. You can head on over now and read my "Art Saves" story and follow my links to see who and what is inspiring me these days. And don't forget to visit again because from tomorrow through Sunday you will find two new, inspiring links every single day.

Monday's Links
The dance of light and dark
The right write

While you are there, I hope you take a moment to read Jenny's review of my book The Pulse of Mixed Media: Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed.

You're right Seth, one might need half a day to peruse through that site! Looks great! I intend to go back and do just that.

BTW my latest issue of Cloth, Paper, Sissors arrived this week and lo and behold you are in there too! Your art stood out immediately to me and it looks so good!
You sure do get around!

Congrats on all these arty successes! Happy for you!

Its going to be a great week Seth. The right write is chock full of very good pen advice! Worth the price of admission as they say. Te story of how art found you and you found art is inspirational.

Dear Seth, Thank you for including me in what you consider inspirational. You could not have selected a more timely post than you did - words I need to re-read and remember this morning. Bless your generous nature, your inclusiveness in all your endeavors. Live long and prosper. xo

I am passing around the news about the One World One Art event which Lisa Swiftka has information on her blog about. It is very difficult to find the information on the older post on her blog. I have the link on my own blog if you would like to post the link yourself. I had a difficult time getting her link correct as the very last word is 'know-.' all-you-need-to-know-.
I have not seen the very last - dash before the . period. Otherwise this event is to replace the One World One Heart event she hosted for five years. I think she had over a thousand people participating during those yearly events. This year is going to be a bit different as she says it is NOT about blog hopping, and NOT about 'giveaways' unless a person wants to create an item for the event, but she is not allowing the word 'giveaway' to be used in the heading of the event on any one's blog. It will strictly be an event to promote artists world wide to appreciate the handmade aspect of creative blogging.
So, I am passing the word around.
Thanks for your patience is reading this.
Cheers!

Please forgive my typos in my last comment.
And now I will go to Crescendoh to read your post. It is always so inspiring to read about other artist's journeys.

Oh, Seth, I was in Vegas when this happened! Sometimes people say that but they're kidding. Not me, boy. You know I"m not afraid to embarrass myself.

I'm going over to Crescendoh now. But first I have to go to Artists Network.

I better not read any more posts. I'm going to be exhausted.
