This past Friday, The Pulse Project opened at The Empty Spaces Project gallery in Putnam, Connecticut. The exhibition highlighted the work of 29 artists, all of whom were contributors to one of my two books The Pulse of Mixed Media and The Mixed Media Artist. The show runs the entire month of April.
The exhibiting artists are an international crew, hailing from the United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and UK. Their artwork is equally diverse, with mediums including assemblage, encaustic, collage, acrylic, oil, pastel, drawing, book making, photography, digital, fabric, jewelry and more.
The opening reception was well attended and the feedback from the viewers regarding the artwork was unanimously positive.
A number of the participating artists came to the opening...
Bridgette Guerzon Mills
Jennifer Coyne Qudeen
Robert Maloney
More posts are coming that will highlight the artwork on exhibition.
All 100+ works of art are available for viewing and purchase during the run of the April show on this page on my blog.

It's been forever since I stopped by (my bad). But, oh!! What a day to visit. Congrats on the show and thank you for posting all the artwork in the store. How wonderful for those who can't make it to purchase through your venue. Great photos, too! You've come such a long way and I am very happy for your success.

It's a wonderful show and the reception couldn't have been better. I'm so glad I was able to participate and attend. So many lovely people buzzing about the artwork, saying how different and exciting it all is. I was in awe of the work from other artists...Seth, Paul and Ann, you did a terrific job with the jury process. It was all so different yet completely cohesive. Five stars for yet another of your brilliant brainstorms Seth! Great to see you again!
The excitement and energy is almost palpable in your photos, Seth. So sorry to have missed opening night!
