Living vicariously here Seth! Looks wonderful x
Taos is indeed a very special place. I lived there in the early 1970s for a bit. It was an amazing and light filled environment filled with creativity. Every artist should spend at least a little time there. Glad you got the chance!
Isn't New Mexico heavenly? I've only been to Santa Fe so far, but the vastness and ever changing sky and light had me falling in love with it in my first few seconds there. You've captured the feel of NM in your photos. By the way, is that a Bill Worrel sculpture in the last photo?
Taos is on my bucket list...love the adobe.
Amazing imagery. It seems so peaceful. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous photos, gorgeous colors and textures.
(The building next to the stairway looks like a face.)
Love the peaceful vastness.
Ps... Love the light and shadows.
Gorgeous photos Seth, what a trip!
Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring.
Wonderful photos Seth - thank you.
Stunning.
Mmm... this is so inspiring! It's not only the place that's beautiful but also the way you are photographing it. You managed to catch some unique details, light and mood. Thank you so much for sharing!
nicely captured and so very different from the frozen north!
Having lived in the southwest my entire life, I often take the scenery for granted. Seeing your wonderful photos and experiencing images taken by someone with newcomer eyes has given me a better appreciation of the beauty that is Tao (aptly named don't you think?).
Your images are stunning, Seth, and so evocative of that special time we all shared at "Mabel's." It was a week to celebrate and remember! Thank you for making my time in Taos so magical. You and Roxanne provided so much more than just art projects and techniques. I am so grateful.
Incredibly wonderful photos!
Beautiful pictures!!!
Okay, can't stand it...that I missed that...
It looks like a wonderful time and sounds like a really successful workshop! Congratulations!
These pictures are so pretty and good. Love the doors and the pop of patina and blue, inspiring photos and I sure hope you had fun teaching your class! Awesome sauce! ~Niki
It's so great when events go from being a workshop to a retreat. Inner Discovery happens, friendships are forged. It's an eternal kind of thing.... Sounds like that's what happened....And a little texture, too:) Glad for the share...Laura
Been to New Mexico several times, especially Santa Fe and Abiquiu. Have not made it to Taos yet. The beauty of NM never ceases to amaze me. Glad you were able to partake on that.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful, evocative pictures. Taos is filled with stunning inages. The class with you and Roxanne last week was a game-changer for me in terms of opening my eyes to so much more. Of everything. Thank you for that. :) :)
Where did you find the feathered metal sculpture?! Great.
Beautiful pictures Seth. I am so thankful to have had you and Roxanne as instructors at the retreat. It was truly amazing. I created art at a whole other level than ever before. Thank you.
REALLY Special!
What a fabulous collection of images, it looks like an amazing place, thank you for sharing it.
I realize it's also the starkness in the photos that's so stunning and beautiful to me. Thanks so much for sharing. I was in the southwest many years ago. Makes me want to go back.
Love all your photos Seth. Sent them to my son who lived in Taos for years, to enjoy. The photo "moonlight" actually looks like a painting. Thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous photos of such a magical place... love them all!
