As the sun sets on 2016...
and I reflect on my experiences this past year...
I think about...
my sense that there is always light to be found in the darkness...
how hard it sometimes is to maintain my balance...
the fact that I always have the opportunity to write my own story...
the times when life felt mixed up and tangled...
the many treasures I found in unexpected places...
the losses that continue to hurt all these years later...
those special memories I created through my own choices...
the moments I was running on empty...
my faith in the belief that what goes around comes around
the heights I reached through hard work and determination...
and my continued quest...
Thank you all for continuing to be such a big part of my journey this past year. I look forward to all the adventures we will have together in 2017.

I just now finished watching your Card Play video, and can hardly wait to get my hands on a set of playing cards so that I can start a new little "book" for the year. Perfect for 2017! Patty & I had a New Years lunch today & talked about how much we had enjoyed your presence in our lives, and the great classses over the years. Such inspiration & challenges Seth. How the journey began seeing "you" in NY driving on the freeway so many years ago. Wishing a stamp store nearby features you again. Happy New Year to you & yours from your "stalker".
Beautiful post Seth. I was so sad to have to pull out of the wonderful class you gave for PaperArtsy and friends in the UK back in September (slow recovery from surgery) so I'm looking forward to finding out as much as I can about your techniques from Youtube, etc., in 2017.
