Community Rules

"I am the artist I am today because of the bigger group of artists that I am a part of..."

Join me today on Love My Art Jewelry, where Mary Jane Dodd has invited me to be a guest blogger. I chose as the theme of my post a topic that is near and dear to my heart: community and collaboration. Head on over and read my story of community-driven art and see images of some of the very many collaborations I have been a part of.

And stay tuned for an announcement tomorrow of my next online collaborative project coming in July.

What a wonderful post as guest blogger and so glad I have had the privilege of working with you on several of your collaborative projects!

Hey, not sure why my comment came up as anonymous. Your project with Roxanne was really the epitome of being "collaborative in nature"! :)
I think you are the ultimate collaborator in mixed media art today!

It's always interesting hearing more of your views on art and life Seth. You've produced some great collaborative work.

Your feelings about collaboration echo my own, and I really appreciate your presence in and contribution to the mixed media community. I remember at a Lynne Perrella workshop, Lynne spoke about the importance of "finding your people," and being a part of that community. Be it online or in person, sharing what I do with those who "get me" is as important to me as the art itself. Maybe more so.
