Contexture Concludes

This is the third and last update on my collaboration with Bridgette Guerzon Mills and Jen Wordon. We have been working together on an art project since early 2009 and have recently completed our pieces. You can see my contributions to Bridgette's plaster pages here and Jen's metal pages here. And below you will find a complete set of images from Contexture, my book of brittle, vintage paper pages. Please enlarge the photos for a detailed view.

I love the texture and feel to all of these pages...I love your blues Seth! And your choice of lettering and stitches. The fabric parts that lap over the side of the page.
Yummy.

Love this piece and thanks for sharing with us.
I would like to hear about the items used in creating the piece, one area looks like a hanging stone, another corrugated cardboard??
Thank you, Patq

Each of these pages is a real work of art. As always, I am SO impressed.

I'm taken by the use of words and letters in this piece. It's such a big (in the emotional sense) work, and the languge symbols help me to move through the pages without feeling stranded or overwhelmed. Believe me, I know how difficult it is to accomplish this sort of movement. Kudos to all.
