It's fun to see each of these little works of art in and of themselves...food, huh? I keep wondering if any of mine will deteriorate in a few months time?
Maybe in a year!? I might just tie it all up again and leave it until May 2010. ;-) Unless of course you have other plans for us to follow.

Oh what fun to see my little bundle hanging in the tree, and The Weaver of Grass, I gave her the link! Glad she's involved too.

I can think of a few pieces of my art that I'd like to disintegrate!

This project is beginning to act like it's been hit with radiation and growing to Monster Proportions....only this time we don't need to run for our lives!

I gave my friend her birthday gift early and she loved the collages! I decided not to frame them so she could decide how to use them. She makes books and I thought she might like to use them on covers. I have given her your blog address and I am sure she will be a fan! Thanks for such unique pieces! Have a great day! :)

I like the comment about radiation. Yes, monster is right. This is great, Seth. You've started so much fun and my slug is loving its little home underneath my book pages. - Jeanne

Hi Seth. Can't believe that time has flown and there's only a month to go before THE BIG DAY.

I just posted about passing on an inspiration award. Congratulations. I just nominated you. Enjoy.

I dunno.. it may be getting a bit creepy now. I mean all mortuary like and stuff... this from a grrl who regularly buries stuff.

Someone is using gold leaf? Wow! That really does show the treasure that art is. Just a month to go now but my bundle still doesn't look like it's been out in all weathers.

Am longing for a bit of disintegration, Seth, but so far it is bearing up extremely well in spite of gales, storms etc. I suppose what would help would be a plague of newspaper-eating locusts!

It's so wonderful to see all of the unique and creative bundles that everyone has put together -- I'm very glad you started this! With only a month to go I tromped through the backyard to check on mine today. The first resembles more of a soggy blob than anything else and I dig it.

Have a great day, Seth. :)

Thank you Seth for putting my bundle on!! One of them is looking particularly soggy and dirty now- can't wait to open them up! This has been one of the best participation events I have seen- you have brought so many people together! :o)

I have to say I am amazed at how my little offering is holding up to the weather, it seemed so fragile, but has proved to be amazingly tenacious, the paper is becoming translucent but so far no actual disintegration has occurred!!

I wish I would've seen this sooner! May 1 doesn't leave much time so, I'll do one for myself! It just touched my heart. My son recently died of AIDS and like me, he loved nature. So many ideas have gone through my mind. I want to do this for him. I, for some reason, feel that I can tie up some of my pain in this bundle. It's such a great idea and will be very meaningful to me.
They're so amazing to look at!

Oh, it looks so young in that photo! You should see it now - the bottom element was swept away in the wind last week. I am in mourning.
