Gorgeous. Your color palette for this series is a favorite of mine. I have to admit, though, Sumatra coffee is not my most favorite roast. It's a good think I like your latest piece much more than I do Sumatra roast.

Do you have the aroma factor? I want to touch these and almost fondle the textures...is that a special blue ink...Windsor? I just love the blues you are exploring...Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Yes, scratch and sniff art. It's time for that again! Love the use of coffee. Such an aromatic art medium.

Seth, had to laugh, I just sat down with my second espresso of the morning and your post came up first. I love my coffee! The blue works so well with the brown and I am intrigued by everything you put into this including the coffee grounds. This would be great on a very large scale...in a room where you can take in the full aroma...just imagine! I can see I am going to have to spend more time on your sight...it is great!

so there i was, the parking lot in front of the UPS store, bending over to pick up a long piece of rusted metal from someone's car or muffler or something, thinking of seth. nice, heavy, maybe 6 inches long, 2 inches wide...gingerly wrapping it in a bag to bring home. see? your influence is everywhere!

Coffee grounds and ink..who would have thought that. I like the mix of textures with the ink/paint...lovely! Congrats on being chosen for the Marketplace...I loved the art you submitted for that and the write up about it was also great!
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Just sitting here sipping my own coffee in Colorado and enjoying catching up.

Guess you are staying out of trouble....so much to do and doing it all well.

I love this post, Seth, and it resonates for me with one I have just posted on the subject of ... coffee (and spring and puffins). You might care to take a look here. You might even care to cast a vote for a favourite poem... (or you can click here to by-pass the coffee...).

Another two hot coffee works! I can even see the brew from here. Love the blue and brown shades and how you've worked them together- great patterns created! More wonderful works in this super series!
