April Showers

It will be pouring in April - raining art the whole month. Maybe you can join me at one of the following events...

Art is You Santa Rosa

I am returning to be part of Art is You mixed media retreat in Santa Rosa, California -- the last time the event will be held at this venue. Running from April 4-9, AIY features over 80 workshops from than 30 amazing artists. Plus a huge vending event with art, supplies and flea market treasures. Not to mention a series of talks, events, and other collaborative experiences.

I am teaching a new, 3-day workshop called Table of Contents

and a special, collaborative workshop with Kecia Deveney called Animal Magnetism

I am excited to be returning to ArtExpo New York as an exhibitor from April 21-24.

Join me - and over 400 other exhibitors - on Pier 94 in booth S616 as I share and sell my latest collection of art.

If you are interested in attending, please email me at and I can provide you with complimentary entry to the event.

Back on my home turf, I return to The Ink Pad in NYC on the evening of April 28 to teach Photo Op.

There are only 2 seats left at the time of this posting.

Three pieces of my artwork continue to be exhibited at Nails in the Wall Gallery in Metuchan, New Jersey through the entire month of April (and continuing until May 31)

If you cannot see me in person, see me on TV.

The last episode of the first season of Make it Artsy, the new PBS program hosted by Julie Fei-Fan Balzar, is now live on their website. You can also watch my segment, on innovative embossing techinques, on YouTube.

And a sneak peek at May...

-I am headed back to Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria, Virginia to teach 3 workshops May 5-7: Wrapper's Delight, Book of Moments and 50 Ways to Leave Your Layer. Registration is open.

-I am returning to The Ink Pad on May 12, unveiling a brand new workshop. Save the date and stay tuned.

-Visiting Kept Creations in Whitman, Massachusetts from May 20-21 to teach 52 Card Pick Up and Cutting Room Floor.
