Sit in Your Sunshine

Ready to warm your hands and your hearts? It is time for another trip to the bonfire. The Gypsy Bonfire. Lisa Hoffman has outdone herself yet again on her storytelling blog in presenting a story written by Mark Hanson. But don't take my word for it. Click here and start reading. By the end, you will likely have a huge smile on your face. Or a tear in you eye. Or more likely both!

Love the Gypsy Bonfire stories that you showcase. Wonderful story indeed. Perhaps reading this will inspire each one of us to praise at least one additional person that we encounter for something about them that is special. Everyone has something to be appeciated, and who knows, you might be "the one" person to make a difference in someone's life by what you say. We all love affirmation and the thought that we are appreciated for something- whether it be from an action, a quality we may have, an idea expressed(as in this story) or even just the presence we have when we're with someone. Thank you SO much for the Olympic-Size platform!
With YOUR readership gathering around the Bonfire, I'd better start calling in extra help and more bags of marshmallows!
Thank you again for this wonderful, spotlighted tribute.

Thanks for talking up Lisa Hoffman's Gypsy Bonfire and my humble contribution this month. There are many heroes in public education, most of them are the students at alternate high schools who somehow manage to show up day after day. Their stories never cease to amaze and inspire.
