To Do List

TO DO LIST:

1. DISINTEGRATE

Creating and Disintegrating. Thanks to everybody who has joined in the Disintegration Collaboration. So far 38 artists have posted pictures of their bundles. Links to their diverse creations are listed on the sidebar of my blog. Check them out. Please email if your link is missing. Want to play? It is not too late to join. Click here for details.

2. PARTICIPATE

Monkey in the middle! Thanks to grrl + dog, I am a full fledged member of the Global Guerilla (K)nit Up. Click here for details. Without knowing how to sew, knit, crochet, weave, or braid...I am ready to wrap. Stay tuned for photos. Just a warning: I will be blogging for bail if necessary!

3. COLLABORATE

Construction continues on my Graffiti Wall. I am using Lynne's and Julie's papers, as well as my own, to create the facade. Turns out, once you start...tearing art apart is not so hard after all!

4. ARTICULATE

I wanted to send thanks to Cyn Richardson from twobluecrows who passed on the Butterfly Award to The Altered Page. Thanks so much. I send the award right back to you and your beautiful artwork.

Thanks also go out to Evangeline at A Million Universes and to Altered States of Mind for spotlighting my artwork and blog. Much appreciation to you both!

I wondered if you would manage to come up with something for the Guerrila (K)nit up. I'm in rural Scotland so there isn't really anywhere public to put anything like that :o( Love the graffiti wall so far.

"Reply List"

1)Disintegrate:
While it was a little hard for me to understand at first, this is the most amazing collaboration of artists' interpretations and creations of the disintegration concept. Looking forward to the display of nature and time's impact on both your wonderfully wrapped "packet of words" as well as all of the other collaborators' works.

2)Participate:
This was another project I had a little hard time wrapping my arms around. But-look out trees because they will soon be decorated with the most eclectic gorilla art attack they've ever seen. Excited to see that amazing looking picture of your decorative roping wrapped around an unsuspecting tree. We don't end up seeing the amazing pictures of your gorilla action with your picture on the wall of the post office, do we? This wouldn't be a secret collaboration with your grafitti wall project, would it?

3) Collaborate:
And speaking of your grafitti wall, just love what you've showed us so far. The colors, design, and your previous description of this fun project with Lynne and Julie are all creating tons of intrigue. Can't wait to see the continuing process of your wall being built!

4) Articulate:
You are the most creative, articulate, generous and talented artist around. There is not a moment when you're not bringing artists together, incorporating ideas to art, integrating multimedia art processes and materials together that one would never think of, and all at the same time, you're creating brilliant art work and series of art works of your own.
So with this, special thanks go out to you- for the inspiration that your work has had on me, my creative spirit, ideas, thoughts, and flow of energy that follows. Jill

Blogging for bail! Too funny ... and I would laugh, but I have finished my guerilla knitting and now have to take the next step: putting it out there. I have a tree picked out for my red and white "shawl" but hope I have the fortitude to accomplish the deed. Encouragement anyone? I don't want this red and white knitted wonder to languish on my sofa. I may be blogging for bail too! - Jeanne in Oregon

All your projects are looking like a heck of a lot of fun! Hopefully you'll avoid the need for bail - maybe you could take some look out friends with you while wrapping :) but if worse comes to worst, I'll donate to and help pass the collection plate!
Jill, above, has said it so well - you are an inspiration to the community as you share, create, and share some more - thank you!

Does the disintegration of my face count?.....cause I'm really quite ahead of the game in that respect. Don't even TRY to catch up. I win.

These three images just wind me up to create, create, create.
The "collaberate" image is soooo rich and layered with yumminess......I am off to rip up papers and paintings and anything else that calls out to me.
