Great Mail Day

What can make a Good Mail Day into a Great Mail Day? In this case it is original mail art. In my last post for The Book Guild, I announced a giveaway which will have two winners, each of whom will receive a copy of the book Good Mail Day by Jennie Hinchcliff and Carolee Gilligan Wheeler.

Good Mail Day: A Primer for Making Eye-Popping Postal Art

Well the deal just got a little sweeter. Jennie, one of the authors, has offered to create some original mail art which she will send to both of the winners of this giveaway, in addition to the copies of the book. If you have not already signed up for a chance to win, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post by the end of day on Saturday, September 4th. The winners will be announced on Sunday, September 5th. Good luck!

I agree. The pot got a lot sweeter with original mail art from the author. Generous of her to do this, too. Like I always knew, you have a lot of influence in the art community.

Count me it if it isn't too late. I love mail art. I just sent out the "Bottle of Fun" for 14 Secrets. We are passing a bottle of art materials around to each other through the mail. Each one adds something to the bottle for the next on line and makes something for the one who sent it to them.

Wonderful!
