Face the Music

The deed is done! I finally broke down and joined Facebook. You can see my page here. I think I may be the last person on earth to do so. You can see the link to "Like" me on the sidebar of my blog if you so chose. And if I disappear for the next month or so...now you know where to find me. But in all seriousness, I am looking forward to having a place to post briefer updates more frequently. And of course, looking forward to having another place to meet up with you all! See you there...

I "liked" you, but please don't stop blogging. I'm not a big fan of FB because its not organized in a neat way. Too difficult to browse in my opinion. Anonymous is right, it's too crowded and messy.

My nephew, a special effects sculptor, would be the last to get on FB!! It can be addictive- but I think it also can be a great networking ! I am going there now to "like" you!!

Welcome to having all your life sucked out!!!!
I have days I would totally delete my account, except there are a handful of people I've no other way to communicate with.
Seriously.....it is a giant Time Vacuum.....please don't quit blogging. The quality of interaction is never the same! :)

XXOO~~

P.S. Check the security settings CLOSELY!!!

Enjoy Seth! I'm not ready to commit. Blogging takes 4ever as it is and makes one wonder when they have time for life.

As you see, you're not the last one. I too am NOT on facebook, due to the (non)privacy rules overthere... you won't see me there but I know where to find you! HA!

I'm also not on FB, but will follow your blog when you write here.
I'm sure it will open up new doors to you, it's massive, just not my bag :)

Good to have you on board, Seth. It looks like you have an interesting life, so I doubt FB will absorb you. I think it's a good move, as long as you don't get too caught up in it.

I'll head over to your page! There are still many folks not there...my husband being one of them. For me, the jury is still out on it's value...mixed blessing. See you there!

Although as hard to do FB and or blog either way, I've found FB a great addition to meeting folks not on the blogs and are the creative types.
Some seem to spend all day on it, speaking for myself, I still spend as little time there as blogger.
It all gets to be like the boob tube and there's no time with that if one want to be creative at all.
Cheers and forgot to mention, eat plenty of chocolates while you're overseas, they're the best!

My tech-savvy son marched me right out to the end of the FaceBook diving board and pushed. No regrets. Please hand me a towel.

Nope, not on FB and can't get on because I haven't logged in because I haven't created an account. And the print is too small.

Here's my big question about people who are on Facebook AND have a blog...(This question will count for 1/2 of your final grade)...

Exactly WHERE do you want me to look for your daily updates?

a) Your Facebook page
b) Your blog
c) All of the above
d) None of the above

If I have to choose Option C I usually wind up going to Option D because I can't figure out whether A or B is the most current and sometimes they are redundant and sometimes they conflict.

There is one further Option:
e) Your web page

Fair warning here: People who want me to go to their web page AND their FB page AND their blog get deleted from my Favorites list due to their inflated sense of self-importance.

And, for the remaining 1/2 of your final grade, explain each point in 25 words or less...

Why do you need to be in two places?
Which place will you update daily?
Why are you making extra work for yourself?

Hi Seth

You aren't the last person to join FB, I would be. I vow not to join it. I am on Twitter tho for shorter postings ;)

Are you on Twitter too?

Best wishes

Billie

As you know, it took me a long time to get into Facebook too but it's been really nice. Lots of great people there. The best of luck with it. Now, where's that 'like' button ...
