Grand Opening

Last week I officially and quietly opened my Etsy shop. Mostly as a test drive, I listed my zine and one small piece of art, Harmony, which sold and is pictured below. Click to enlarge.

I will slowly be adding more art to my shop, both new pieces as well as some of the work I have previously posted on my blog. I have a lot of ideas for some new projects to create in this regard. First up...a new series I call Iconduits. These are all made with original photographs of religious icons from around the world framed with altered vintage paper tintype frames. The first image below was shot in New Mexico and the second, Italy. Click to enlarge.

The first 4 Iconduits in the series are available for purchase here.
Sold. Thank you!

Congratulations on your Etsy store Seth. Selling a piece of art already is pretty darn fantastic you know, well done!
Looking forward to seeing what other pieces you add to your store.

Congratulations and a round of applause on the official opening of your Etsy Shop. It's already filled with such a beautiful series of your Iconduits and I just love the name for them. Very clever. Your 'Harmony' artwork that has already sold is wonderful. Very lucky person to have been able to buy it from you. You can be sure I'll be back to visit your new Etsy shop "gallery" of treasures very often. Jill

You sneaky, sneaky man! I even checked last week to see if you had changed the 'opening soon: Etsy' image on the right side of your blog. I'm off to have a peek now. The very best of luck with it :o)

Mega-kudos Seth, for your ETSY store. I feel certain you'll do very well with it, because you create great art. Wishing you the best for sure.

It has crossed my mind to open my own ETSY store, but that's all. I haven't looked into it, or followed through. Perhaps you can be an inspiration is this respect.

Just viewing your own amazing art can be incredibly inspirational to me. You and your art and your blog are like a light shining brightly. I'm thankful for that.
