Get Wrapped, Baked, and Painted!

There is nothing I like more than a good collaboration and today I am over-the-moon excited to join forces with Emerald Creek, PaperArtsy and Eileen Hull to bring you the Get Wrapped Blog Hop.

This online hop highlights artwork from a large number of artists who have created magic using Eileen's Wrapped Journal die, my paints from PaperArtsy and Baked Texture and other embossing powders from Emerald Creek.

I love the spirit of inclusion here, with multiple companies - from Canada, the UK and the USA -working together. And artists from all three countries as well. These artists were encouraged to go their own way and to use any other products from any other companies that they choose.

Be inspired, learn new techniques, and celebrate the collective talent in this group! Hop along and make sure to check out each and every post. You don't want to miss a thing!

You continue to create outside the lines and this book is no exception. Love how you used the holes in the spine in a different way. Going to copy that one. This journal is another amazing project and your embossing powders are so very cool. They make *grunging* and *rusting* so easy!

Wow! This journal is incredible! From the layers of paper, paint and embossing powders, down to the smallest of details, you have nailed the worn and weathered, leather-look. I have enjoyed viewing all the creative projects from all the other designers on this hop as well. Each one so unique.

Absolutely stunning! That beaded edge is a fab addition. Your journal looks like an old leather bound book that you'd find on an old library shelf, just waiting to share it's story!

Seth love your style and products. What a great hop, I learned so much. It makes you think while you are reading or watching the process people do, "Why didn't I think of that?" Thanks

Another fantastic hop, but I must say, I really wish I could touch this and run my hand over it, amazing...that Beeswax has endless possiblities, looks like leather!

Noreen said...

I love the vintage look of your journal, and the colors you used. I also liked the interesting way you fastened it.

Laura Tree said...

Whew! This really is a great hop...and a fantastic combination of elements. I’m crazy for Eileen’s dies, as most cut chipboard and leather to make journals or the components thereof. Would love to see what you put inside this masterpiece, Seth. All I can say is “wow.” Whatever you did to the plain cardboard it once was transformed this into the wicked-cool distressed, chunky, crusty, ancient object I can quite well “feel” with my eyes. Thanks!

Your wrapped journal absolutely blows my mind, the layers of beeswax and the textures (I am particularly fond of that beaded edge, as you know), the depth of the images within the finish, it is truly a work of art (but of course it is!)I have learned so much about your paper artsy paint line, and it has me wanting to try this incredible fresco paint out! I love seeing a true collaboration and celebration of creativity, it really is awesome giving different creatives similar materials and seeing all of the varied resulting pieces, and all are so utterly amazing! Thank you for putting such a wonderful blog hop together with these super products!
